Join JCRC and local area Holocaust organizations for a community-wide observance of
Yom HaShoah v’HaGvurah, Holocaust Heroes and Martyrs Day.

Keynote Address
Mark Talisman,
Founding Vice-Chairman of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council 

In addition to the keynote address, the program will include a children's memorial procession, a candle-lighting ceremony honoring survivors and a choral performance. 

Dor L'Dor: Generation to Generation

Prior to the main program, the JCRC, the Jewish Holocaust Survivors and Friends of Greater Washington and The Association of Child Survivors will sponsor a program called Dor L’Dor--Generation to Generation at the same location.  This program, which will begin at 2:00 pm, will give students ages 12 and older the opportunity to gather in small groups in order to listen as Holocaust survivors tell their stories.

In cooperation with Jewish Holocaust Survivors and Friends of Greater Washington, The Association of Child Survivors, One Thousand Children, Kindertransport, The Generation After, Grandchildren of Holocaust Survivors, B’nai B’rith Chesapeake Bay Region and Temple Beth Ami.
