Support Israel

One of the many ways to support Israel is buying Israeli products. You can do so by purchasing items from Israeli stores online, by buying Israeli-made products in American stores, or by buying Israeli products directly from their American-based vendors.

By looking for Israeli products and buying them whenever possible, you are contributing to the Israeli economy and the people of Israel. Let your feelings be known to managers when making these purchases, and thank them for continuing to offer Israeli products.

Check the Bar Code

Every bar coded product in the market contains its country code included in barcode digits. The first 3 digits from the LEFT of any Israeli product will be “729”. A bar code starting with “729” indicates that this product is produced in Israel from the Israeli Bar Code Association – EAN Israel.

Download the App

You can also download the Buycott app to help you fund causes you support, such as Israel. This app will look up the product, determine what brand it belongs to, and figure out what company owns that brand (and who owns that company, ad infinitum). It will then cross-check the product owners against the companies and brands included in the campaigns you've joined, in order to tell you if the scanned product supports one of your campaign commitments.

Buy from Israeli Companies

An easy way to support Israel is by choosing products from brands that play a significant role in enhancing Israel's economy. Select this link to view brands that are either Israeli companies that are responsible for large precentages of Israel's exports or that are international companies which hold high shares in Israeli companies.
