All six candidates for the D.C. At-large Council seat joined JCRC and over 130 attendees for a Special Elections Debate, co-hosted with Jews United for Justice, the D.C. Fiscal Policy Institute and eleven other Jewish and non-profit supporters DC Vote's Eugene Kinlow educated constituents about the Budget Autonomy Initiative, supported by JCRC and passed overwhelmingly on April 23, 2013 JCRC supports SUPER SUNDAY, inviting and escorting elected officials at all 3 DC, MD, and VA locations.  In the District, Mayor Gray, Council Members Mary Cheh, Anita Bonds and Tommy Wells, and candidate Elissa Silverman all lent their support manning the phones and raising funds. What We Do The JCRC's District of Columbia Commission is the government advocate and community relations resource for our D.C. Jewish community.
