Funded The Virginia Israel Advisory Board in the state budget

Gave unanimous consent and Recognized Israels 65th Anniversary with a Center Aisle Presentation in the House of Delegates

What We Do

The JCRC's Northern Virginia Commission (NoVAComm) is the government advocate and community relations resource for our local Northern Virginia Jewish community.   NoVAComm:

  • organizes candidate forums, advocacy activities & events
  • maintains the Jewish community's only on-site lobbyist in Richmond
  • gathers representatives of Northern Virginia Jewish organizations to set our agenda
  • participates in interfaith councils, state and local boards, and civic associations
  • partners with area schools to create a welcoming environment for all students and 
  • engages with law enforcement to keep our institutions safe
