Israel & International Affairs

JCRC’s Israel & International Affairs Commission promotes active support for the strength and survival of the State of Israel and works to mobilize and educate a broad range of religious, human rights and civic organizations in Metropolitan Washington on international issues ranging from the genocide in Darfur to anti-Semitism abroad.

…Advocates,

providing written advocacy materials, specialized trainings, speakers, program and networking opportunities for both Jewish and non-Jewish communities. For more information, click here.

…Educates,

organizing local programs and campaigns and missions to Israel to raise awareness about Israeli and international current events, politics and social issues. For a listing of upcoming events and programs, click here.

...Activates,

promoting political activism in support of Israel on the local, state and federal levels as well as coordinating responses to media and public events. For current action campaigns, click here.

...Communicates,  

serving as a trusted source of information on Israeli life and culture, as well as local Jewish response to international issues of concern, for media in metropolitan Washington, D.C., officials, business leaders and civic leaders.
