A lot of people are just up in arms that a young couple could be walking out of an event – which was actually devoted to discussing humanitarian assistance – and somebody brazenly just shot them and killed them, somehow thinking that killing an innocent couple on the streets of Washington because they’re Jewish is going to bring about any change in Middle East policy. It seems like it was obviously disconnected from reality.

Hannah Einbinder is a sparkling young Hollywood performer currently starring on one of television’s top comedies, “Hacks.” On the show, she portrays a young comedy writer — a role for which she has deservedly received high praise.
There is nothing funny, however, about her recent real-life writings on abortion. For a woman who has proudly and courageously worn her Jewish identity on her sleeve, Einbinder’s decision to cast her lot with those who repeatedly inject antisemitism into the reproductive freedom movement is painful.
As antisemitic incidents rise, these Montgomery County students and teachers are turning to education
Students from Montgomery County and across the region are leading the charge in countering antisemitism with student-to-student presentations through a program run by the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington. The-peer to-peer classroom experience offers an opportunity for Jewish students to share their heritage and cultural traditions, as well as educating non-Jewish students and teachers about hate speech.
